Market Place Kitchen and Bar is a traditional American restaurant, operating with a theme of preparing all cuisines with organic and sustainable ingredients. The restaurant has a decent wooden décor, constructed with 300-years old barn wood from Brook Field's farm. Market Place Kitchen and Bar has a full-service banquet with modern business facilities for corporate events and meetings. Alex Lowe, the executive chef, has prepared a healthy menu for guests in Market Place Kitchen and Bar. Surf and turf is the specialty meal here. It is prepared with pork belly meat braised in duck fat for four hours. It is served with apple marmalade, caramelized scallops and house made kale chips. The ‘famous rigatoni Bolognese GF' pasta is prepared with sweet Italian sausage, milk-fed veal, pomodoro tomato cream, fresh ricotta, grana padano parmigiano cheese and fine herbs.     The food was exceptional, and the wait staff was abundant, outrageously attentive, and met our every need. We were there for Thanksgiving with a pre-fix menu, and the chef was still happy to accommodate our special requests. The atmosphere has a small restaurant feel with a lovely open bar area and the TV volume off. 5-star experience inside Costello's. There was one significant problem. If you do not make it into one of the 7 or 8 parking spots in the garage or need handicapped access, the parking is horrendous, absolutely awful. Truly, you must back down a very steep incline with cars closely parked on either side with a telephone pole and sign at the bottom of the hill - I am serious! To avoid both of those, which, in the rain and darkness, I did not, you must back onto the sidewalk, then drive forward on the sidewalk and over the curb to merge with traffic. Because of the dangerous parking, I will sadly never return to enjoy this awesome food.
