It is always a pleasure to come and see Guy and the team - we have a house in the nearby village of Ramsden but the welcome you get at The Plough is always a different level! The food is always good, but on Saturday we were recommended the Venison and Sea Bass specials which were absolutely outstanding. Combined with the snow falling throughout the meal leaving us a lovely snowy walk home with the children building snowmen at midnight, it was the perfect end to Christmas!! Well done Guy - you deserve your success mate!

A very cosy environment and a busy atmosphere gave the Fleece a really nice buzz. There was some big tables in enjoying Xmas work meals and so we were advised that service may be a little slower but in fact everything went very smoothly. The staff were all very friendly and professional despite being busy All the food was delicious, the service excellent and the choice of 0% beer very good! Portions were decent, there were some nice ‘gastro’ touches like the crisp chicken skin accompanying the Chicken Schnitzel and the truffle mayo. And the Tiramisu was stunning! All in all, great food, friendly service and a cosy venue
