At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Welcome to Aberdunant Hall where we have our fantastic outdoor heated terrace (during peak season), cosy restaurant with an ambient atmosphere in which to dine. Our Menu consists of a number of classic dishes, steaks and meats from the Grill as well as a collection of more sophisticated plates. As we are now in our Winter Season Dinner is served Friday & Saturday evening with our fabulous Home cooked Carvery on Sundays. Adam Ellis our Exec Chef has designed our menus with a wide variety of options for special diets and with just a little tweak can be altered to suit the majority or diets. A lovely evening fantastic food and service. We ate with a two youngest granddaughters at 5pm everything was perfect. So whether your eating early with children, eating later with friends or a romantic meal for two. The potted lobster never disappoints.

Good attentive service. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would certainly visit this place again. Easy to park and nice surroundings also if you’re a little early. Ambience was great - so good we had 3 courses and enjoyed all of them!

Very welcoming staff and great atmosphere. The food was simply stunning and full of flavour, particularly the chicken and veg dish that my partner chose. Really efficient service and will definitely be back!

Due to graduation at the University everywhere was fully booked. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us( party of 5 with 2 having mobility issues). Food was good value for money and was prompt. Would visit again
