Within a beautiful Subiaco heritage building, a new neighbourhood wine bar has entered the scene on Hay Street. In the 1920s, the building was home to a provisions merchant owned by husband and wife Emily and Charles Lums. Their shop, EA Lums & Co, was a place for locals to grab quality ingredients from a family-owned shop. With the appointment of Nick Young as Head Chef, Lums offers a brand new, vino-friendly food offering.Nick’s resume boasts a wonderful mix of fine dining and funky neighbourhood eateries including Wildflower, Must, Bivouac and Lallah Rookh. I love this place, food, ambience and the service. Staff is amazing. I have had margarita pizza, Arancini, chicken lollipop, risotto, scallopine, Campanelle with wild mushrooms, vanilla pannacotta and orange torta, Sicilian margarita, negroni. Service was amazing, staff is amazing. Ambience is perfect 🤩 Thanks Julio’s
