'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. Ideally loacted between Fulham and Parsons Green, Sukho is a traditional Thai restaurant ever popular with the SW6 locals. The dark wood and gold signage and pots of bamboo flanking the entrance are easily spotted – you’re drawn in by a warm welcome from traditionally dressed staff and the promise of a tasteful and comfortable interior. The immaculately laid out dining room is decorated in earth tones, which compliment the antique-looking Thai artefacts, silk panels and leather banquettes. The authentic menu of Thai dishes is extensive, promising a taste of Asia with favourites to suit all tastes. We love the fried soft-shell crab with shredded papaya, chilli and tamarind chutney and the deep fried sea bass with sweet chilli and spring onion sauce.
