The jewel in the crown of all the pubs in Clarence Valley. Our food, the service & a delightful location on the banks of river sets the scene for a lovely lunch. Special note to the chef - the burrata, tomatoes with Turkish bread on a hot summer day was something special!

The food was very delicious. Service was very friendly. Value was no different to other places we have been to in the Northern River. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Lunch. 3 of us. Aperitifs, then Pinot noir Entrees: Oysters were perfect! Turkey Caesar salad with a twist ✅ Mains: pork belly with gnocchi and apple cider sauce ✅ Herb crusted venison , pomme duchesse & pumpkin purée ✅ beef eye fillet (rare), mash, onion jam & thyme jus✅ Desserts: Pistachio crème brûlée ✅ Passionfruit & mango crème ‘bavaroise’✅ The strawberry one ✅ Coffees✅✅✅ All this, and we felt pleasantly satisfied. Excellent combination of tastes, textures and serving sizes. Perfectly timed service. Not rushed. Love this place!!!
