A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay.     We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Charming small cozy restaurant right next door to the Marriott where we were staying. I so enjoyed my red sangria I had 2. The cows milk with lavender honey, walnuts and bread was our favorite 🤩. The chicken skewer and slider were also very good. And a neighboring table insisted on letting us try her potatoes - kind of huge but also very good. And créma catalan with a gift small glass of really tasty port. Highly recommend

    The food and the service at the East are always first class and the location right on Sydney Harbour with views of the bridge and the opera house is pretty hard to beat. Highly recommended for locals and visitors to Sydney.

    Fantastic experience on Christmas Eve at Squires. We were very happy witj the table which had incredible views of the Harbour bridge and Opera House.

    We had a great table for 2 at the front edge, with a clear view of the opera house and the people strolling the waterfront. The linguine with seafood was delicious, as was the burrata and the Italian beer. Tiramasu was tasty, but we wished we had shared because the portion was huge! On Christmas Eve, it was very busy, so service was a bit off, but all the servers were so pleasant that I can’t fault them.
