We opened on Valentine’s Day in 1953 in downtown Clinton, NY, and we’ve been sharing our love of good food and drink as a community gathering place ever since. John and Laura Alteri opened the doors and managed the restaurant until John’s death in 1960. We rebuilt after a fire in 1963, and the tradition was carried on by John’s son and daughter-in-law, Fernando “Feet” and Beverly, until 1998. It was our first time at Ocean Blue and it did not disappoint. Very gourmet menu selection, the staff are very nice and welcoming. The place is upscale, but also kid-friendly with a great children’s menu. My son however, ordered from the adult menu and said the Faroe island salmon is the best thing he’s ever had! I have to agree with him!
