The Coach House, 2x James Beard Award and Jean Banchet Award-nominated Chef Zubair's Mohajir’s latest venture, is a Tasting Menu experience featuring a heavy dose of South Indian flavors whilst avoiding direct tradition. The Coach House is located in the rear of Lilac Tiger's street food location, on Division St.Our 6-course Tasting Menu rotates seasonally, and is featured on Friday and Saturday nights at 5:45pm and 8:30pm. Our 4-course Pulutan Menu, inspired by the melding of Indian and Filipino cuisines, is offered at 6:30pm Tuesday-Thursday nights.     The Coach House is an amazing experience. The food is innovative, tasty, and wonderfully presented. I have been to India 7 times and never had as good a meal as the coach House. The Chef should receive a Michelin Star for his very creative work.

    The food is great, we were at an awkward time where our server took our order then clocked out. The next server never really took care of us our food was cold but it was not very busy. Never checked on us. The busboys were more attentive.

    This is my favorite Korean bbq place to go to in Chicago. The quality of meat is superb and delicious. The service is so nice, friendly, and courteous. It’s nice that they help us cook the meat since we have to also tend to our crazy toddler. I love that they have small plates and utensils for kids. The only thing I hope they improve is the amount of condiments. They are a little stingy on these. They should refill these right away. Most Korean bbq places do this automatically and without having to ask. Overall, the place is fantastic and their ventilation system is phenomenal. Will go back again.

    What a great spot! We came here as a group of 16 before the marathon and couldn't have asked for better food and service. Our waiter was so patient with us greeting each other from out of town and was quick to bring out food and drinks. Would recommend to anyone!
