Serop's is the pioneer of Chicken Shawarma (see picture left or above on mobile) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The earliest form of Serop's opened in Baton Rouge in 1979. Chicken Shawarma was a staple of the Greek and Lebanese restaurant scene in the beginning and is still a popular menu item today. Excellent as always! My friend had Duck Confit and I had speckled trout special with risotto and sweet potatoes and beets! We both loved our dishes! Always impressed with Eliza’s farm to table menu, the quality and delicious preparation of each dish!

Incredible food, love the ambiance and quiet atmosphere. Such a refreshing change from loud, busy restaurants. Service was impeccable. We had the crawfish mac n cheese for a fun starter. Fabulous! Husband had the seafood linguine- off the charts! I had the lobster roll. Very good, one thing is that I wished it had been served warm instead of cold. Fries were very crisp and unusually flavorful. Highly recommend!
