Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea.     One word: Oiishi!! Don’t hesitate to book the table. Generous servings of deliciousness matched perfectly with their delicious array of cocktails. Definitely order the okonomi, crudo kingfish and fried eggplant. Even the potato salad was a show-stopper. Thank you Miji Bar & Grill for making our anniversary dinner a special one.

    Family dinner to celebrate birthday of my dad Staff are extremely helpful, caring and sincere. They were so wonderful to prepare complimentary dessert for our old dad. Atmosphere here was quite good, very happenings Pity that food was salty to us, as we have been tooo used to plain food

    Our Waiter was fantastic, (forgot his name), service was efficient and friendly. Special food combo deal was fantastic value and food was really good quality and portion size.
