Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn is certainly Ye Olde, even by the standards of British country pubs. The building has been there for at least 700 years – nobody knows exactly how long it has stood on what is now Ludlow Road – and has been a pub since 1740, serving the traveller, the public of Bridgnorth and all others who entered their doors. A brilliant lunchtime experience. Home made soup and a really great carvery. All with that special atmosphere you only get with ancient oak beams and an open fire. Staff were efficient and attentive. Highly recommended.

Excellent in every way. The whole experience from booking through to paying the bill was superb. Food is the best & the people really do make it special. It’s the absolute perfect place to go for a birthday celebration. Me & the wife like to play a game at the end & guess how much the bill is going to be. It was a good £25 less than she thought it was going to be so wed class that as excellent value for money. Booked in again for a few weeks time. Looking forward to it

Booked a table for a chill evening for my Wife's Birthday. We had a nice little selection of vegan sides/appetisers and a couple of drinks. Although the music was maybe a little loud for the chill/relaxed evening we initially expected, the general vibe and ambience was very upbeat and positive. They even surprised us with a free Birthday desert as a treat for my wife, was very appreciative of this little surprise. We had a lovely meal and a great night!
