Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA.     Minervas is and always has been a classy upscale restaurant with a great menu and a great staff. The ambiance is perfect for a date night and all other special occasions. And being located in DTSF along with great shopping makes it fun just to stop in for an appetizer or cocktail at the beautiful bar.

    I used to work at R wine bar and right before I moved to MSP Maribella opened. I have been wanting to dine here and finally the opportunity arose with some dear Sioux Falls friends. To say the least Ricardo and his family have brought a piece of Italy to the corner of downtown Sioux Falls. The lemon pasta is exactly what I remember eating after a shift at R wine bar in 2018! The only critique I have is there should be a sign on the door for the bathrooms haha!
