Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. We enjoyed our second visit to Hawthornes for brunch. I had a delicious matcha latte with lavender syrup that was well made and very tasty. For our meal we shared the Crabby Dick and Chicken and Waffles. Both were delicious! The crab cake was very good and their potatoes are amazing! The service is also charming - all the staff had party hats to celebrate our waitress's birthday.
