Thousand Pound is back and better than ever. Reopening on Thursday, 5 September, in the heart of Main Street, Rutherglen, our beloved local is unveiling a refreshed menu for Spring 2024. Executive Chef Jack Cassidy (also of KIN, New Regional Restaurant of the Year 2024) has crafted an exciting fusion of modern Australian and Asian influences, featuring vibrant flavours from China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal. Beautiful setting and the food was delicious. The staff were not only friendly but very efficient. Highly recommend Bonnie’s as a great lunch venue, especially the outside tables on a beautiful day like we had.

Fantastic venue. We were greeted by Zeus the border collie who was charming. We had lunch outside overlooking the lake on a perfect Sunday afternoon. The service was excellent and we loved the wines; they were all well balanced and had a point of difference. Highly recommended.
