This is where it all started – on the banks of the Rappahannock River overlooking where we grow our oysters. We like to call Merroir a “tasting room,” just so people know to expect something different.     We tried two of the lunch specials - Chicken BLT and the Chicken BLT Flatbread as well as the Mushroom Soup. Everything was delicious. Service was quick although the restaurant was quite busy for a Monday lunch! We will definitely be back again.

    With the exception of the gentleman at the checkin desk, everything about the restaurant was professional and first class. Our waitress was adorable, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was delicious: short ribs, halibut, truffle risotto, pumpkin creme brulee, drinks, etc. The atmosphere was really nice with tables NOT crowded, easy to have a conversation, and lovely decor.
