Great food, service, and recommendation on a good (and reasonably priced) bottle of Italian red table wine.

Great service given the Valentine’s Day madness, our server was busy but made sure we were ok when she could. Food was good as usual. I hated to see people being rude to the wait staff because some things were taking a little longer-unaware of what’s going on around them, I would like to see how these same folks react in the same position.

I really need to come here more often as it is a true gem in an otherwise less than stellar dining selection in Fremont. The food and the service are top notch. It is a small venue and so reservations are recommended. We dined for Valentine's dinner and between us we enjoyed the strawberry salad and lobster bisque soup, and a crab cake for starters, all of which were perfect. The steaks were tender and flavorful, cooked just right and I am rather particular so was quite impressed. Very nice wine selection, but I do wish they offered a cocktail menu. The topper for me was the chocolate raspberry cheescake. I normally prefer a very traditional and rich NY cheesecake, but this chocolate-infused variant was out of this world and I want to go back soon just so that I have enjoy that again. Il Porcino is a must to try in Fremont.

Arrived early and was seated early. Staff was friendly and worked hard to keep things moving. We unfortunately had to wait a while for waitstaff to do first touch. Once drinks & food order taken, things went smoothly. Appetizer was great. Fish & chips and chicken sandwich were hot & tasty. Mahi Mahi tacos were fishy tasting. Took a while to get check, but online payment was fast. Overall good meal.

Our service was excellent. One of the dinners had a hair in it and was re-ordered.
