Just a mile down the hill from Goodwood Race Course we are 12 minutes drive from Chichester. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner we try to source our ingredients as locally and as seasonally as possible. Whether you are at a Goodwood Event or walking, cycling or just out for a drive and fancy a decent meal at reasonable prices, we like to think we are one of the best around. We have a great courtyard and garden space which can seat up to 100 people. Freshly ground coffee is available all day. Once again an outstanding 5* experience: a tasty leak and potato soup, a perfectly executed creamy pappardelle with chicken and my usual favourite, a warm mini brownie with ice-cream to finish 😋 The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly and the atmosphere just perfect.

We booked a pre Christmas Sunday Lunch at Farmer, Butcher, Chef on the recommendation of a friend and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent quality, very tasty and whilst priced at the upper end of what you usually want to pay for Sunday Lunch, it was worth it. None of us had any vegetarian dishes so unfortunately can't comment on those, but the meat was tender and tasty, the roast potatoes crispy and some of the best cauliflower cheese we have had for a long time. Three of our party also had cocktails at the end of the meal, which they all loved. Overall a wonderful lunch on a great venue. Thoroughly recommended.
