    Holiday magic comes to life with our annual life-sized Gingerbread House on display from Saturday, November 23 through the New Year. With hundreds of bricks of real gingerbread baked by our pastry team and pounds of See’s Candies, our Gingerbread House display brings out the kid in everyone. Looking for a special treat? Book a dining experience inside the private Gingerbread for up to 8 guests and take in the scents and sounds of the holiday season. a $500 rental fee applies for a 2 hour dining experience. Additional time reserved in the Gingerbread House is charged at $150 /hour in rental fee. A minimum spend for all reservations is $1200 + tax + gratuity (20%), not including the price of the rental fees. Rental fees are charged on booking

    We reserved 7:30pm did not get seated till 8pm. It took long for server to come and serve us. He was so busy running around . Not his fault, I guessed they short handed. We weren’t given plates to share our salad and fries. I’m not sure if that’s how they usually go. Finally we got our food. I couldn’t eat my pasta. I tried the pasta is not fully cooked, supposed to have mushrooms, it was minimal. My husband ordered the chicken, he said it was dry, I tasted it and I agree. But the flavoring was good. I complained to the manager and took off the entrees from our bill. I have eaten at Tonga room before and that was a good experience. I wanted to try the Laurel Court this time. I would suggest not to go to Fairmont for dinner during the holidays. To chaotic. Short staffed!

    Overcooked food and side was served cold. Extremely overpriced with very small menu selection. Not impressed. Fairmont can do much better.

    Went for High Tea. Extremely expense for what amounts to 5 stale bites of a sandwich, a pot of tea, and some ok sweets. It was so loud we had to yell to hear each other which is not a pleasant High Tea experience.

    Brunch was bad cooking, had few selection, and took long for trays to be brought out. The chef was unprepared for the high number of customers on Saturday morning. Not a good look for the Fairmont brand.

    Very disappointing Saturday breakfast buffet before Christmas (dec 21st). The food offering was not anything special, they were out of many things at 11AM and long line waiting for pancakes which were hard to get. Surely they knew it would be busy and they've been doing itvs long time. Was far from special. I'd expected more.

    Food and service were impeccable. However, the music volume combined with the noise of other diners made it hard to hear my dining companion and our server. Would I go again? Yes. But I'd know not to expect a social table experience next time.

    Fantastic Holiday Afternoon tea service. The food and tea selections were amazing. The live entertainment and overall service was top notch. We are making this part of our holiday tradition!

    Ambience was beautiful but so disappointed with everything else. I will never have afternoon tea there again. I am a native San Franciscan and still live in SF. I love the holiday traditions but the tea service was a huge disappointment.
