Le Garrick, located in London's theatreland, is an intimate French restaurant. There is a homely restaurant at ground level, while at lower ground level the friendly bar/dining room has intimate nooks and booths for romantic moments. Expect classics and favourites of French bistro cooking; Faux filet Rib Eye or Onglet with sauce poivre or Béarnaise & French fries. For pudding choose from Crème brulée or Lemon tart among the classic desserts. The 2/C prix fixe menu is a lifesaver pre-theatre. In an area that's full of chains, Le Garrick is a one-off. Annual celebrations in the restaurant for Beaujolais Nouveau and Bastille Day. Perfectly located for Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square.

Service was excellent. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Ambient was wonderful.

Our booked party of 6 was reduced to 4 which was managed by the restaurant really well. We had a lovely table and were superbly served and looked after by the staff. They were genuinely friendly. We’ll be booking next year’s Xmas lunch at Le Garrick

Perfect central location to dine before the theatre (we were headed to Harold Pinter theatre after our meal - about 5 mins walk away). Speedy and friendly service. We had pre-theatre menu. Would definitely recommend the onglet steak - cooked to order & delicious as well as reasonably priced

Very crammed, too many tables for such a small restaurant. Also had an awful experience because of a very loud group and due to space being so small very hard to enjoy dinner or have a normal conversation.

We come to London this time every year for Xmas shopping and book this restaurant every time. The food is excellent and the staff are so kind

This restaurant is always a great place to eat and drink all things French and tasty. It can be noisy pre-theatre but has quieter times. French staff and cosy atmosphere make it that bit special.

We had their 3 course Xmas menu (not a turkey in sight) for £46 each and 500cc flask of white and one large glass of red and coffee. Wide selection of 500cc flasks and wine by the glass that is good. More restaurants should do it. The bill for two with service was £145.35 which was reasonable for the quality of the food produced. It was Xmas office lunch time so very busy and noisy downstairs but we could easily hear each other. Good service considering the number of covers. Will go back.

Really lovely staff and very nice food but I always forget how cramped, tiny and crowded it is in there. The poor staff really need to squeeze past the tables and just getting in and out of the front door is a challenge at populate times! I guess that’s part of its charm but you need to be ready for it!
