Le Garrick, located in London's theatreland, is an intimate French restaurant. There is a homely restaurant at ground level, while at lower ground level the friendly bar/dining room has intimate nooks and booths for romantic moments. Expect classics and favourites of French bistro cooking; Faux filet Rib Eye or Onglet with sauce poivre or Béarnaise & French fries. For pudding choose from Crème brulée or Lemon tart among the classic desserts. The 2/C prix fixe menu is a lifesaver pre-theatre. In an area that's full of chains, Le Garrick is a one-off. Annual celebrations in the restaurant for Beaujolais Nouveau and Bastille Day. Perfectly located for Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square.

One of my favorite London restaurants. They stay open late after theater. It’s a little cozy place down in the basement right off of St Martins Lane. Great quality French food at a reasonable price and lovely people running the place. The servers were particularly friendly last night.

This was the prefect dining experience for bringing one joy in the depths of Winter - wonderful food, warm and knowledgeable staff, and a cosy, atmospheric venue to top it all off.

I have been eating here every time I come to London and the food currently is not particularly good. Our pate was dry; the hanger steak portion was small and OK; the frites were excellent with just OK deserts. The question - come back in the future? For me that will be a no. I thought for what we received this was a too expensive meal

I decided to visit Le Garrick to celebrate my fiancée birthday. We spent an amazing dinner!!! The staff was great, they gave as a very good table with candles and they came to sing happy birthday to her 😁 the food was traditional French and superb (snails very tasty), champagne very good and the price was fair. Highly recommend for a romantic date, Thank you.

My boyfriend & I came here after a West End show to have a relaxing romantic meal. It was absolutely lovely! We had the pate for start, which was very tasty (only point is we had a large basket of bread, but small portion of pate, so probably didn’t need as much bread!) I had the confit Duck with spinach for my main, which was so delicious. The mash was the silkiest ever. My boyfriend had the Beef Bourguignon which he really enjoyed immensely. Aside from the food, the service is outstanding. Our waitress was attentive without feeling pushy. The atmosphere feels very laid back, romantic, warm and buzzy but considering its location and it being full, we never felt rushed at any point. Stayed for coffees & aperitifs and had a thoroughly wonderful evening!

Great venue, excellent food, excellent service. More non-alcoholic drinks choices would be nice. My only criticism was the number of tables that had been crammed in which made it extremely cosy!!

Lovely authentic French restaurant. Quirky interior with many alcoves to sit in, amazing character and ambience. Incredibly attentive staff despite the restaurant being full when we were there post matinee theatre at 5.30. The food was faultless and reasonably priced, good wine list and cocktails too. Couldn’t want for a better place to eat as a family or with friends around theatre-land, thank you !

Very friendly efficient service. Good range of French classic dishes. All food was delicious and the quality and quantity was good. Prices were reasonable for the area . Would recommend if you like French food.
