                        It was another great Sunday evening at Louie’s Wine Dive. The food and service was great , but the jazz duo was amazing. You can’t experience this kind of music experience at a restaurant anywhere else in Des Moines …especially on a Sunday night. I encourage you to experience the food and wonderful jazz!

                        Not great. A series of mishaps including forgetting to cook our ticket, forgetting food items that should have been included, and generally not particularly appealing food that wasn’t worth the premium. It looked sloppy and was nothing special at all.

                        Wait staff was wonderful. Food left quite a bit To be desired. My noodle dish had very little flavor. We ordered dessert and they were not cooked on the inside.

                        Louie’s is our go to place if we want excellence in all areas of Dining . We went there for happy hour on Friday and what a great way to end the week. Relaxing able to easily talk cheerful great wait staff food was wonderful the total package.

                        My favorite place to visit in Des Moines. Incredibly charming and wonderful experience every time I go. Hyvee next door is fun for wine drunk grocery shopping afterwards.
