On New Year's Eve we will be serving our regular dinner menu a la carte with a few exceptions and a few additions. Still taking reservations.

                                                3 meat Meatballs with Ricotta was really good. Bolognese was tasty and filling. The Braised Chicken with Pesto was our favorite, Full of Flavor. Stag's Leap Petite Syrah was great.

                                                We arrived a bit early for our reservation, and unfortunately there was a game at the Garden. The North End and the restaurant were both very crowded. No place to wait, so we walked around a bit. We were seated close to our reservation and our waitress was great. Informative, helpful and pleasant. We shared a nice salad of prosciutto, arugula, orange and peppers on a board. Excellent dish. The focaccia was served with a colorful, but not very flavorful pesto. The bread was quite salty. We ordered pasta with wild boar ragu - very well done -and beef tenderloin which again was overly salted. Good service, nice table, good food that would have been great with a lighter seasoning touch.

                                                The staff is exceptional! Very professional. The manager, Matt, looked after my wife and made sure she was comfortable at the bar while I worked to find parking nearby. Held our table as I was a little late for reservation. Overall...Lucca will be our "go to" for North End restaurants. Just an overall fabulous experience.

                                                From the moment we walked in the door, we felt very welcomed. Our server was excellent, as was our food! Our friends arrived very early and sat at the bar while they waited for us. They were telling us how nice the bartender was, offering one of them little tastes of different cocktails to see if she liked them, since she wasn’t much of a drinker and wasn’t sure what to order.  For dinner, we ordered the house made lobster ravioli, seared sea scallops, rigatoni Bolognese and wild boar ragú. Portions were large and everything tasted delicious. Our friend who ordered the wild boar ragú couldn’t stop talking about how tasty the red sauce was! Overall, wonderful food and hospitality - We will return!
