      I never do reviews, but with our experience it’s needed... Our 12 oz steak was actually 6 oz and overcooked. The beef short rib risotto was dumped with salt. The chicken Picatta was dry. The mahi mahi was the only good dish. Our servers took over 30 min to swipe our cards and then brought us checks with complete wrong items on it. They never asked how anything was. Haven’t had a restaurant experience like this before. Can’t recommend this place to anyone.

      I went here with a few friends for my birthday dinner and we had a lovely experience! The food was incredible and comparable to meals I’ve had in Italy. I also got a raspberry mojito and it was delicious. Would recommend!

      I am not a fan of pasta being drenched in sauce, but it seems the norm in America. Portions are huge, almost too much, our salad had undercooked squash on it, strange. Prices seemed fair.

      I have been a patron of Lucca’s for several years, enjoying great meals and exceptional service. Unfortunately, this visit fell short of the high standards I’ve come to expect. I dined with my two daughters and one of their boyfriends, and we all ordered seafood pasta dishes featuring scallops. Regrettably, the scallops had a distinctly briny, fishy taste, which we feared were spoiled. Our waiter was attentive and kindly offered to have the dishes remade. However, when we inquired further, he assured us the scallops were fresh and safe, suggesting that the flavor might not improve in a replacement dish. Given this, we chose not to have the meals redone and instead picked out the scallops to avoid wasting food. While the rest of the meal was enjoyable, paying over $30 per plate only to remove one the main component was disappointing. I still hold Lucca’s in high regard and hope this was an isolated incident, as the restaurant has otherwise provided memorable dining experiences over the years.

      One of the worst experiences I have ever had. The inside of the restaurant was nothing to be excited about. For a non-chain Italian restaurant , atmosphere was below par expectations.. which would have been fine if the food and service out weighted the lack of decor. However that was not the case - our appetizers came out over cooked, dry and flavorless (2 each : Calamari, Arancini, meatball) we had to send them back, when the manager came over she examined how much of each appetizer was eaten and only offered to take 4/6 of them off the bill. Still giving the benefit of the doubt our food came out and looked good (4 orders of Lobster Raviolis & and 2 orders of Seafood Risotto - specially) but the salt content in the dishes were so high we had to spit it out and again send the food back. When the manager came back she goes “what’s the problem now” when addressing the table. After explaining the issue and having her taste the dish she offered to bring new meals and we all declined , called Chinese take out in the restaurant while we were waiting for the bill. What a way to spend NYE… of all experiences to end the year with. Will never go back nor recommend.

      For an Italian restaurant, my noodles were under cooked and sticky. The meal was also lukewarm. Sent them back, pretty sure they heated them up in the microwave.

      We were served out of date scallops that didn’t just smelling bad bad they were actually discoloured - the prawns were also rancid. We pointed out this immediately and the waitress didn’t even really apologise. Instead she asked if we wanted something else. My husband was sick and left the restaurant. We tried to speak to the manager and the lady just took the one meal off the bill. We left all our food and weren’t even apologised too. We emailed and messaged the restaurant regarding this but got no reply.

      I met a friend for dinner on a Thursday night and we had a great time catching up. The food is delicious, the service prompt, warm, and friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. Parking can be somewhat of a bear, but Lucca's is worth that relatively small inconvenience.
