In the 15th Century, Prince Henry the navigator ordered his explorers to bring back to Portugal any exotic fruits, nuts and plants from the new lands. Tomatoes and potatoes are taken to Europe, Brazilian pineapples were introduced to Azores, Brazilian chili peppers grew in Angola, African coffee was transplanted to Brazil.
Today the Portuguese fondness for ingredients like cinnamon or curry powder, is also a legacy of his time. The Romans brought wheat and introduced onion, garlic, olives and grapes. Later the Moors were the first to plant rice and introduced figs, planted groves of lemons, oranges and almond trees. Portugal is a seafaring nation with a well-developed fishing industry trading cod since the 15th century.
Today, naturally, Portuguese cuisine varies from region to region , but fresh fish and shellfish are found on virtually every menu. BOM APETITE!!!!

Have been away for a while and we were thrilled to see that food and service is still as good as ever, maybe even better. I had the flat iron steak which was vet flavorful and cooked perfectly. My partner had the shellfish and white bean special. It's a real Portuguese dish and it was inhaled. Really good stuff that we missed

The service was great. All four of us had different dishes. My husband’s steak was cooked just right and all of our seafood dishes were excellent The wait staff is efficient without being intrusive

My first time there and it was great service and our waiter was knowledgeable and the food was well seasoned and delicious, my only complaint was that we were seated next to two tables with young kids and it was annoying as it was a birthday dinner for my spouse.

Amazing and truly authentic Portuguese deliciousness. The service was amazing. I had the clams in butter appetizer and then the paella was absolutely perfect. My man had the lamb entree and he loved it. Great place and will definitely be returning

Slow service. We had a reservation and still waited over 25 minutes when there were empty tables to use. Slow bar service. Food was average for the price.

Dear Kristin Kelly We are a busy restaurant for a good reason. We seat only 20 people every 15 minutes to make sure everything goes smoothly. You showed up one hour before your reservation. Your reservation was at 8.15pm and even like that we gave you a table at 7.45pm. The reason some tables are empty that's because of the reservations. We are very well known for honoring them. You gave us 4 star on the food. Thank you for that.

Things have changed since my last visit. The quality was disappointing and the presentation and preparation of the pork and a few other dishes did not compare to the first visit. The service is always attentive and a fun atmosphere.
