Fried oysters were the best, shrimp veggie rolls were also good. The lamb special and the dumplings were not all that. Lamb needs something more complimentary as a side other than carrots but understand it was Asian style. Being a Mediterranean it did not hit the spot for me. Salmon and gnocchi were good.

The food was excellent and the service was great. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they did a great job. We really enjoyed it.

It's always a top notch experience when we dine at Margaux's. They pay attention to every detail and the ever changing menu is absolute perfection. Something for everyone there. Don't miss this little gem in North Raleigh's Brennan Station.

We started coming here almost 30 years ago when living in Raleigh. Moved to Charlotte 12 years ago and first time back to try the food again last night. Amazing! Everything was very flavorful and the service was outstanding. Ask for Bill to be your waiter. Very helpful and informative on the menu choices. If you are ever nearby it’s well worth it. Crab Spring Rolls and Fried Oysters were outstanding! Everyone’s entree was perfect. We will be making the drive again for this food and service.

Margaux's has a nice bar for waiting on your table. The fried oysters were good, and the Grouper was very tasty. The service was outstanding. I look forward to my next meal at Margaux's.

It was our 14th anniversary and we’d been wanting to go to Margaux’s since we moved here 4 years ago. Excellent service - thank you Sarah! - excellent meal! We were very happy.

We were first time visitors and brought my brother here for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is warm and cozy, the ambience was perfect for conversation, and we did the early prefix special, which was a very good value with lots of terrific and delicious choices. We understand why this place is such a landmark in Raleigh!

This restaurant was fantastic! I started with an espresso martini and my guest had a specialty cocktail, both of which were perfectly crafted and delicious. For an appetizer, the fried oysters were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely divine. For dinner, I had the NY strip and my guest had the grouper, and both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The entire experience was top-notch, and I’ll definitely be returning!

We eat at Margaux at least 6 times a year. We brought our adult kids to start a Christmas/New year tradition. Well, it was very disappointing. First, our waitress was not nice at all. She must have been having a bad night. She was not very attentive and was slow. Our reservation was at 6:15 and we ordered our food by 6:30. The appetizers came out quickly and we very good. At 7:40 I asked the waitress where our food was. She didn't seem to know much about it and said she would ask. The food came out 5 minutes later. Nobody apologized! The waitress made some excuse about it being busy. I have been there many times when it was much busier. The food was ok not great. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked that way. My daughter ordered her steak medium but it came out medium rare. This is the first time we have had a problem here so we will try it again but for a $300+ bill we should have received an apology.
