THE MARIPOSA located on Level 3 of Neiman Marcus ALA MOANA greets you to a panoramic view of the Ala Moana Beach Park located directly across. Enjoy seating in our Dining Room, or on the Lanai.

Mariposa Restaurant boasts a spectacular ocean view and extraordinary cuisine from Executive Chef Lance Kosaka.

Find your favorite menu items plus new selections too. Open daily for Lunch: Sunday 11am - 4:30pm (last seating), Monday - Saturday 11am - 3:00pm (last seating)

Our Sunset Lounge Menu is offered Thursday 5pm -7:30pm, Friday 5pm - 7:30pm & Saturday 5pm - 7:30pm (last seating)

Enjoy a commanding view of the Friday Night Fireworks display from any seat in the Restaurant or on the Lanai.

You can count on good food, delicious drinks, a nice view and friendly servers! The yummy pop-over, and consommé is something to look forward to! Unfortunately, the front of house staff can be unfriendly. Today, the new young lady at the front desk checking guests in was very rude fir no apparent reason! She seemed irritated to have to disrupt her texting on her personal cell phone to check guests in!!!

Very busy! We made a reservation for 12:30 on 12/30/24 but ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes for our table anyway. The wait was not too long but I was a little surprised that at least four or five parties got seated before us. Service was excellent. $42 for a crab and shrimp Louie salad was a little steep and “market price” for a seared ahi salad and lobster roll was a little eye opening. I also ordered a wagyu burger with fries takeout and that was $30 so if you’re not used to paying those prices for lunch is the only reason I gave 4 stars for value. Other than that, I’d recommend Mariposa for lunch as a special occasion treat.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to dine. There were three of us today and the server was very pleasant. Two of us ordered the delicious corn chowder and it was brought to the table before we had a chance to drink our complimentary chicken broth. Then before we finished our chowder they brought out our meals. The restaurant wasn't busy and I guess the kitchen just didn't pay attention to their timing of the meals.

I used Open Table to make reservations and left a message on recorder of restaurant phone line to ask for table closest to elevator. This was due to difficulty walking, my request was tabled to wait and see. All turned out perfect for location of seating. As for food..$38.00 scallops were on smaller size but you do get 6ct with dab of mash potatoe. No extra vegetables or anything. $42.00 Lobster club sandwich only was 2 slices of sweet bread not usual 3 slices. Lobster pieces were very good with a small cup of green salad, could have more greens. $32.00 Duck leg was good with gravy and had vegetables. $23.00 Beet salad looked good with variety of vegetables and in medium size bowl. All in all meal i felt expensive for what you get. Service was good and beautiful view.
