THE MARIPOSA located on Level 3 of Neiman Marcus ALA MOANA greets you to a panoramic view of the Ala Moana Beach Park located directly across. Enjoy seating in our Dining Room, or on the Lanai.

Mariposa Restaurant boasts a spectacular ocean view and extraordinary cuisine from Executive Chef Lance Kosaka.

Find your favorite menu items plus new selections too. Open daily for Lunch: Sunday 11am - 4:30pm (last seating), Monday - Saturday 11am - 3:00pm (last seating)

Our Sunset Lounge Menu is offered Thursday 5pm -7:30pm, Friday 5pm - 7:30pm & Saturday 5pm - 7:30pm (last seating)

Enjoy a commanding view of the Friday Night Fireworks display from any seat in the Restaurant or on the Lanai.

It’s always a pleasure to dine on the lanai and take in the beautiful view. Food is always good, and the familiar consommé and pop overs are such a delight. Service is also always great, but today was particularly impeccable.

The service was really good. If dining when they have live music, if given a choice, I recommend eating on the lanai so you can hear your own conversation more easily. All the food was excellent. Starting with the free, warm, light and airy popovers with strawberry butter…yum! Seconds are free, too; the only danger here is filling up on them before your entree arrives! The delicious truffle fries have the most truffle flavor compared to all others that I’ve tasted anywhere; they’re served perfectly seasoned with crisp edges, and a garlic aioli on the side. And the Shrimp and Crab Louie salad is so good too, with a good amount of crab on it, and 3 huge, perfectly-done shrimp, that I always end up getting it as my entree. I always want to try other things which sound good too, but don’t want to give up the chance to eat this again. I guess to try other things, I just need to come here more often, lol.

Scott was very good. He answered our questions and checked on us periodically to ensure we were enjoying our meal. He offered dessert and suggested we stay for the fireworks. The host staff greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. The food was good. I had the Waygu cheeseburger and fries. I didn’t try the truffle fries, but may on my next visit. The view was outstanding.

Dinner at Mariposa is always great! Great view, great food, great service. Bring your mainland guests here for one of the best restaurant views in Waikiki.

Reservation was for 1:15pm, arrived at 1:15pm and waited for 2 minutes to speak to the receptionist. She mentioned that table is being set-up. We waited for about 10 minutes before we were seated. Receptionist mentioned that my reservations were at 1:30pm. Open table listed my reservation at 1:15pm. Service was not the greatest. The food was excellent. Tipped 18% because the food was excellent. Service needs improvement.
