                                                                                                                                  We’ve been to Marzano many times and usually have a good experience. Food always consistently tasty. However, This time I felt very rushed and was hovered over and charged 20% more for the entrée I ordered than it was listed for on the menu! There was also an additional service charge already on the bill for credit card users even though I was paying cash! No one bothered to ask how I was paying and when I asked my server about the up charge for entrée she and said prices were changed on a few entrée’s and she should’ve mentioned but that’s it. We live in Jenkitown and probably won’t return. It’s disappointing because everyone is friendly and food is good but secretly overcharging in a deceitful way is disrespectful. How many people don’t even notice and just get scammed.

                                                                                                                                  This was the first time we went to Marzano and we’re so happy we did. Everything was delicious and I particularly liked the special eggplant rollatini appetizer! We will definitely go the extra distance to come back.

The avocado crab appetizer was underwhelming. It was has two avocado halves with a tiny amount of crab over it for $15. The calamari was a pretty small serving for the table and was $17. Pasta dish was $25 and again underwhelming. Dinner for three was $138- too much for what you get.

                                                                                                                                  As always, the food and service were superb and the experience delightful. Weeknight visits are a particular pleasure. Marzano is well worth the visit.
