                                                                                    We were there on day 1 of a massive WA power outage.where most of east side seattle was experiencing a blackout and the few restaurants that were open had a 90 mins wait and frazzled skeleton staff. We drive around for a while and decided to make a last attempt at Redmond Town center and see if we could find a decent place with a reasonable wait. you never would have known this was all happening based on our experience at Matt’s. We were greeted and seated promptly. The staff were so cheerful and we were very hungry and our server took our order right away. I had the halibut fish tacos. Delicious and substantial pieces of fish in the 2 tacos. My friend enjoyed her steak bites and fries. I hadn’t been to Matt’s in years but will return after this experience.

                                                                                    Excellent spot for happy hour and/or a meal. The staff is friendly, starting when you enter the restaurant, as well as all of the wait staff. The food has really fresh ingredients and is quite flavorful. Good pricing as well. Will definitely be back, especially since parking is a breeze too!

                                                                                    Our table was served the salmon plate, the filet mignon plates and a taco dish. All of our dishes were delicious and well proportioned. We will definitely come back. Everybody loved it. We all gave it five stars for the food!

                                                                                    Very attentive staff and good food! My spouse didn’t like the way her entree was cooked. They quickly took away the dish, prepared an alternative entree of her choosing, then comped her entire dinner!

                                                                                    Party of 4. Two of us ordered a dozen oysters each. The oysters were fresh and delicious as expected at Matts'. They were shucked expertly but took very long, too long, to arrive. Traditionally cod is used for fish-and-chips and for a reason. Halibut is a more delicate fish and easily overcooked in a fryer as was the case... dried out. Service was acceptable considering today's dismal service elsewhere, almost anywhere it seems. Overall, we had a great time. Matts' is doing things right.

                                                                                    We had a wonderful dinner here with friends. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server was great. I wish I could remember her name(other than she had a ponytail). The clams were as wonderful as she described them. The steak, chicken and fish were all well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Warning the chicken dish is enough for two people. Count on a doggie bag if you order it.
