   As always we enjoyed Midtown Bistro. I had the fish and chips and my wife had a Reuben. Both very good. Paula, our server did a very efficient job. All in all a very pleasant experience.

   Very nice restaurant. Calamari was exceptional, as was the pasta special. The crab cakes were disappointing, being a bit soggy.

   Food & service was good. I was surprised when we were charged for plate service for serving a bday cake. I had called the day before to ask specifically about this service. I was told I could ring a bday cake, but not about the $5.00 charge per guest. This was my only disappointment.

   I had a business lunch today at the Midtown Bistro and everything was great. My Client and I both had different Salads for Lunch. One was a Caesars Salad and the other was a Steak Salad. Both were quite tasty and large. The atmosphere was very comfortable and quiet, making it good for a business discussion. Our server was very efficient and checked multiple times to make sure everything was to our liking and refilled our waters before we even thought about asking for more. The General Manager, Edmund Catanach, stopped by and chatted with us for a while, making our experience even more personal. All in all, it was an excellent dining experience. I will plan to come back again.

   My wife and I shared an order of fish and chips and a Reuben sandwich. Both were very good. Eli, our server, did an efficient job. We always enjoy dining at Midtown Bistro.

    A lovely quiet place for a leisurely dinner. We went during Restaurant Week-a good time to try new places-and loved our experience here. Our waiter, Brandon, was a big plus; friendly, attentive, excellent recommendations! We ordered calamari as an appetizer; the best calimari I have ever had arrived on a dinner sized plate; the three of us ate it all, but there was so much that I think it could easily be a main course or shared by four or more. It was served with two sauces; the habanero pineapple sauce was delicious! I ordered the ribeye, which was at least 10 ounces, probably more. The sauce on it was great, and not overpowering. The goat cheese stuffed chicken and fish and chips were also ordered and pronounced very good. Desserts came; YUMM! Wonderful carrot cake, key lime pie, chocolate mousse. Fabulous. The restaurant is a guaranteed return; next time to try their weekend brunch.
