The award winning venue is located just off the historic Royal Mile and combines chic cocktail bar with intimate restaurant.     Had a perfect lunch at Monteiths yesterday. Not my first time and it won’t be my last . Beautiful all year round entrance , excellent food , lovely ambiance and amazing staff . Our server yesterday ( so annoyed I didn’t get her name , went above and beyond to make our lunch special!! She was an absolute star !

    A slightly more elevated experience than a traditional pub. The Sunday Roast was delicious. The staff was super friendly, warm, helpful and professional. Lovely

    Really excellent small restaurant we had fish and it was beautifully cooked. Excellent service and ambience. The wine list was a bit pricey but they have to make a profit somewhere Thoroughly recommend

    Found whilst walking on the Royal Mile, it was a great discovery. Very cosy ambience, large plates and a vast selection of delicious cocktails. We had a really nice time!

    My friend and I ate here to celebrate her 60th birthday. Everything was wonderful. She said the souffle was like eating "cheese air" -- just lovely. My seabass was fresh and perfectly prepared. The wine was yummy; the dessert decadently delicious. The service was great -- solicitous and friendly, but not intrusive.

    We arrived early and had a cocktail at the bar. The bartender was helpful and chatty and we had a great start to the meal with some lovely drinks. We weren’t rushed from the bar and were shown our table. We were given water and plenty of time to review the menu and make our decisions. The food was lovely and drinks were good too. Service was friendly and professional and we at no time felt rushed. This is one of our favourite restaurants and it fully met our expectations again today.

    No me gustó la comida, y aunque fueron muy mables el servicio fue lento. El lugar es lindo.
