One of the best restaurants in Maryland is located just two miles from I-95 exit 74 at Mountain Branch Golf Course - 20 minutes from Baltimore.
Constructed out of three acres of Oregon’s finest Douglas Fir, the historic-looking timber-pegged post and beam structure has high ceilings, multilevel architecture and a magnificent view. The Grille & Pub at Mountain Branch is a favorite for relaxing after a round of golf and is an ever-popular destination for lunch, dinner and late night. Spacious patios afford dining al fresco when the weather is mild. And when winter winds are blowing, a large fireplace keeps the inside warm and cozy.                                                                                                                                   What we (the three of us) did not like was the fact that we wanted some rolls or bread served and asked three times to the waitress. After our food arrived we asked again. What was brought out to us were 2 burned rolls for the three of us. Considering the price of the food, I am sure the management can supply rolls.

We've gone here to celebrate small occasions, and it always feels special. We went here for Restaurant Week and had the special $39 meal which I thought was a great deal considering the quality of the food and its preparation. Highly recommend the caveman short rib--it was fantastic! It was pretty packed the Saturday night that we went. We made reservations, but had to wait about 15 min for our table. I take that as a good sign that this place is well-loved. We had drinks at the bar while we waited.

                                                                                                                                  The Salmon and crab cake were delicious. The portions were ample and the presentation was spot on. My husband’s apple martini was strong but tasty. And the bread pudding and mashed potatoes reminded me of my great grandmother’s. We will be back!

                                                                                                                                  We had an outstanding dinner at Mountain Branch on December 30th. We both had grilled (blackened) chicken pasta and it was delicious. Just the right amount of seasoning. Our salads were generous and tasty. Our server, Teegan, was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She pas courteous and very attentive but not overbearing. A delightful evening.
