Fine dining in a relaxed dining room. Located on Westgate High street amongst other independent shops and a short walk from the sea front. The Restaurant features in both the Michelin Guide & the Good Food Guide, and is listed in the top 100 restaurants in the UK.

Sète (named after the coastal town in France) is a wine bar, shop, and kitchen. Our doors opened to the wine bar in October 2022 and the restaurant and garden in July 2023. The seasonal menu focuses on modern European cooking with a heavy French influence, highlighting the best produce Kent has to offer. Wine is certainly at the heart of what we love. With an ever evolving list that highlights old world classics, accessible natural wines, female winemakers and exciting next generation vintners.     We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to No 9 for Sunday Roast. Excellent service and lovely menu, could not fault it. Well done to all your team. We have already planned our next visit. Would highly recommend.

    This was my second visit this month and both occasions were a delicious experience as always! From the moment you walk in until you leave the service is so attentive! Friendly and professional. Such an excellent team. Westgate is so lucky to have such a special place and long may it continue!

    From booking to the end of our visit, everything went very well. On arrival, we were shown to our table, which was by the window. We had a lovely view across the bay. Our waitress took our order for drinks and food fairly promptly as there weren’t many diners in the restaurant at the time. The restaurant gradually filled up and we were pleased we had arrived early We chose the roast beef and all the trimmings and when it arrived there was plenty of food and it was well cooked. We enjoyed our meal and our visit very much
