The kitchen, headed up by Krizstian Balogh, focusses on great British food and features a wealth of local produce. Fantastic pub classics feature strongly alongside accomplished dishes. Real Ales and local Ciders sit proudly amidst the eclectic selection of wines to suit every budget. To make the most of a visit to the Charlton, there are nine comfortable en-suite bedrooms. The breakfast menu, from Clun Valley Eggs, locally cured bacon and Ludlows' famed sausages to the finest smoked salmon has something for everyone. Independently run by Cedric and Amy Bosi, a warm welcome is guaranteed. Children are welcome and are provided with a children's menu. One of our favourite restaurants and it does not disappoint. Once again we enjoyed a warm welcome, a well situated table, excellent choices and food served in a professional yet friendly manner. We had the ducking, sea bass and beef duo. All were excellent as was the delicious beetroot soup and venison ragu. It is great to be able to rely on a restaurant for ethically sourced and delicious food when entertaining guests.
