Set in 22 acres of stunning parkland Paris House is located on the Duke of Bedford's Estate in Woburn. Paris House blends modern culinary techniques with traditional foods to create a 6 course tasting menu. Paris House was originally built in 1878 in Paris. At the end of the 19th Century the timber framed building was dismantled and shipped piece by piece to its current home in the stunning grounds of Woburn Park. In January 2014 Paris House was bought by the businesses’ award winning Executive Chef Phil Fanning. The restaurant is managed as a family business by Fanning and his wife Claire.The restaurant’s tasting menus are based around dishes constructed with natural flavour combinations using the best seasonal produce available. Each menu has been carefully created to showcase the ingredients and provide you with a memorable dining experience.

Bedford’s beautifully-landscaped Embankment has wonderful views out over the River Great Ouse. The Embankment Hotel was built in 1891 and we renovated it to reflect its late-Victorian heyday, but with all the modern comforts and facilities of a great pub.     We had a 3 course Sunday lunch which was great value @ £39. We dine out a lot,and the roast here was definitely of the best we've had,10/10. The restaurant itself wasn't that busy which was supprising,and we only found it by chance having seen a Facebook post. We came here a few years ago before lockdown and actually thought it had closed down so it was nice to know it was still open. Staff were great,service was great,what's not to like.

    Within Woburn Deer Park and the 'Paris Exhibition Exhibit that is Paris House. We had an excellent meal within a calm and relaxing dining room. The venue interior is not inspirational but we went for the cookery rather than the interior design! Our meal was beautifully presented with some outstandingly delicious courses, 'carrot soup' and 'the Lamb' in particular. With the added delight of some wonderfully tasting bread and oat cake biscuits with cheese. We were served by attentive waiting staff who were able to discuss the menu and the wine list with passion and knowledge but still managed not to be overly obvious. With great company and delicious food overall a great experience.
