Lovely meal and service as always. Busy even on a Wednesday lunchtime. Nice corner seat as requested a quiet (ish).spot. Chef always accommodates our slight alteration to King Prawn Linguine from cream to.tomato.based. Good portion sizes.

We were celebrating a joint family birthday and I had travelled from Sussex to come to the Olde Dog for the first time. We all had roast dinners which were absolutely delicious but could have been served a bit warmer. The starters were very good, crispy prawns and whitebait. The whitebait were plump and cooked perfectly with a lovely crisp coating. The pork crackling was excellent and all the vegetables were cooked really well. The pub was very cold but the staff explained about the issues with the boiler and alternative heaters were provided and it did warm up eventually. I look forward to coming back again! Thank you.

Excellent food and service as always. There was live music as it was a Friday evening which was quite nice but was very loud, even though we were on the other side of the restaurant and it made conversation very difficult…… Otherwise a very enjoyable evening and will definitely be returning….
