Nell's is an intimate, chef-owned restaurant located in the vibrant Green Lake neighborhood. Open for dinner seven nights a week, Nell's offers European-inspired New American cuisine featuring the finest Northwest seasonal ingredients. If we do not have your desired reservation time available online, please give us a call.

Our chef Philip Mihalski's cooking approach unites his classic training in some of the most celebrated kitchens in New York City and France with his passion for freshness and simplicity.

Nell's menus are designed to pair beautifully with your wine selection from our large wine list. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options on request.

Came here last night to help Nell's celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Quite a testament to Chef and Owner Phil and his GM Skye to have managed to pull this off in such a brutal industry. The food is always fantastic, the service impeccable and the atmosphere so quiet, peaceful and romantic. We come here for almost every one of our special occasions. It's nice to see other regulars and especially nice to see younger couples giving this terrific spot a try. Try it once and you will be hooked.

I like Nell's. It's a very creative, French-inspired kitchen teamed with excellent, attentive service in a comfortable physical space. As is the case everywhere else, Nell's prices have increased but it still seems reasonably priced for the high level of food and service on offer.

Nell's is a great restaurant. It was a little busy last night because of Restaurant week but still very attentive service and great food.

Went for dinner during "Restaurant Week". My friend and I both had the Butternut Squash soup for our starter and the Mahi Mahi for our main course. Both were so good. The soup was delicious and the presentation very nice with toasted pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil! Mahi Mahi was amazing, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside on top of a carrot ginger puree and a little bok choy. For dessert, he had the apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream and I had the pear sorbet with grapefruit, honey lavender syrup and shortbread cookie - both very good end to a great dinner.

We had reservations at the beginning of "Restaurant" week. Our meal was wonderful and the staff was great. Must have apple crisp it's the best.

Excellent food, service, ambience. A restaurant where you can pay a reasonable amount for a nice meal and actually be able to talk vs. being drowned out by the noise.
