We strive to create an experience that looks at the Southern dinner table through a new lens. Our menu offerings are rooted in southern comfort dishes but are elevated to a level that will excite today’s diner. They remind us of family meals around our dinner tables but over deliver complex flavors and stimulating presentations. Our guests are served by a staff of eager hospitality professionals capable of providing the backstories of dishes, suppliers and ingredients. Great experience. Service was excellent (love Abigail). Mushroom ravioli was delicious and the pot roast was so tender, it fell off the fork. We will be returning here again!

Love was in the air last night at the New South restaurant! We couldn't have had a better Valentine's Day Dinner.

Food as always was excellent. The Halibut was cooked perfectly and my collard greens were very flavorful. The roasted Chicken entree and the Mac and Cheese were also very good. The service was excellent and very attentive. A really nice neighborhood restaurant.

Abigail did a wonderful job for Valentine’s Day. Food was excellent, albeit a bit expensive. Our disappointment came from the brusque hostess who seated us. There were three booths that were open, she proceeded to seat us to the one closest to the bathroom. I asked politely if we could have an open booth a bit further from the bathroom door. She proceeded to let me know that she couldn’t make any changes because they had many reservations for Valentine’s Day. That much I understood, but could not comprehend what that had to do with booth selection. Rudely, she said she couldn’t make the change. Ironically, the other two booths were vacant for a good 30-45 minutes while we dined. When there are so many choices available for dining I would expect much better hospitality. Unfortunately, for New South we won’t be dining there in the future.

Been coming here almost 30 years and this great restaurant has never failed us always having a varied menu, great food and excellent service.
