Nonna Silvia's is a popular neighborhood restaurant nestled between Park Ridge and Edison Park. Family owned for 22 years, Chefs Steve Marti & John Giannini have been cooking authentic, regional Italian cuisine (from central Italy) since opening the restaurant. Inspired by and named after their grandmother, Silvia Giannini, Nonna Silvia's offers homemade pastas, fresh seafood, specialty pizzas, and a choice selection of local, Midwestern meats. We feature a collection of more than 60 wines (many of our wines are award-winning, Wine Spectator rated) from all over the world as well as craft beer and signature cocktails.                                                         Love this restaurant. Have previously only been there during the week. This time, a Friday night, the joint was rocking. Very loud and distracted a bit from the meal, which was excellent. Love that they have interesting and different specials all the time.

                                                        Was there for a birthday on a Tuesday night. We both ordered main course off the specials menu. Pastas were good, but not great as they usually are. Service was spotty, which is unusual. A brownie with ice cream to help celebrate my wife's birthday was a nice touch.

                                                        Stan was a wonderful server. We enjoyed the Olives very much. Baked clams were nice but it felt like something was missing in flavor. Bianca pizza we enjoyed. Our main dish Pasta Bolognese, could have been hotter, Sausage and Meatballs very nice. We will comeback there’s some other dishes that we really want to try. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

                                                        We had a very good dinner. I thought the carpaccio was a little short on beef but the arugula was fresh and the cheese was flavorful. My friend enjoyed her pasta. We had the molten cake for dessert. Delicious!
