A fine-dining Mediterranean restaurant that couples the freshness of traditional Greek cuisine with a modern white-washed atmosphere. The walls are adorned with old black and white photos of Greece, a nod to our namesake, which is the origin of “nostalgia.” Our healthy menu has guaranteed returning customers and consists of daily fresh fish, popular lamb dishes, and several vegetarian selections.                                                                         One of our favorite restaurants (& not just Greek restaurant). Reasons: Fabulous food. This is no run-of-the-mill Greek restaurant. In my view, an elevated dining experience. Pick anything and you will get fresh food prepared exquisitely whether it be vegetables (and they take their vegetable items seriously), seafood, chicken, lamb or beef.. So when my wife & I dined on Feb 19, we each had our favorite appetizers (spanakopita for her; saganaki for me); she had the filet mignon and I had the lamb chops & a mousakka (primarily for lunch the next day. I also had the sausage and peppers special appetizer and it was great. Great service from Marija - she is new but very attentive Fabulous hospitality from Romina (Manager/Host) - We've know Romina for some time. A true professional. I am trying to understand the complexities of Greek wine. So we always ask her to pick a bottle for us to try and we are never disappointed! All this = restaurant is always full. So make a reservation early

                                                                        Love this restaurant for a non-holiday. Extremely disappointing for Valentine's Day. Tables were added and we were literally sitting next to other couples 2 feet away from us. They put a table spacer in between what normally would be a 4 seat table - it was extremely awkward. Normally the food is amazing but this time sub par. Filet was overcooked and tiny. Pre-fix menu - which no one told us about previously. We'll be back, but not on a holiday.

                                                                        Busy restaurant so service was a little slow. Food is always good. Hard crust bread and taramosalata were delicious. Had rockfish special. Not my favorite, but always an enjoyable meal.

                                                                        Nostos is already very popular, it is the best restaurant in Northern Virginia. You need to make a reservation to get a table. It is a quality restaurant. The food is excellent, everything fresh and perfectly prepared. It is a pleasure to just enjoy great food. Add to that the perfect service; and the family who owns the restaurant, is always on site managing all the details and greeting guests. It is a taste treat of the first order. You will love it.
