                                                                                              So disappointed with our experience here. One of our favorite spots but will not be in a hurry to return. We called to say we were running a few minutes late. And they right away said there was a reservation right after us and we would have to be out by 7:00 which I said that was fine. Then when we arrived the manager made sure to tell the hostess to let us know we needed to be done by 7:00 which we heard him say. And the hostess again told us about being done at 7:00. So I don’t know if they told the waitress to rush us but the service was below par. I didn’t even get to open the cocktail menu and she wanted my drink order. Then ready to get our order which I barely had a chance to look at and I was just ordering my app and she wanted our dinner order as well. Which was fine so we put them in. I had my first course almost finished by the time our drinks arrived. I almost got up to ask about them it was taking so long. My husband always gets the clam chowder which he thought was off. My husband loved his dinner and mine was goad as well. They boxed up the leftovers and then got us another cocktail and then brought our check. No asking us if we wanted dessert, or if we were ready for the bill she just gave us it. I had to call her back and said I think we having dessert. She brought dessert menus over came back and took our order , never offered coffee or anything. Just feeling like they wanted us out. Which was only maybe 6:20. Dessert came and she brought the bill right back over. While we were having dessert she asked if the check was ready which I said no sorry I didn’t look at it yet. And the rest of the time I felt like she kept looking at our table to see if we had the bill ready. I have never been more upset. I wanted to go to the manger right then. I was planning on taking my employees here for a group dinner but I will not spend my money somewhere they don’t know how to treat a customer!

                                                                                              For the hype I’ve heard this didn’t meet the mark. So crowded and noisy we couldn’t hear each other or our server! Ww arrived early to grab a drink first and there was literally no where to be so don’t go early. Finally, all of the servers were amazing!! The host was adorable and went above and beyond with our coat check! The food was not impressive- I think all of the hype was severely overblown.

                                                                                              On a cold winters night we went to this restaurant (Off the Hook) to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was excellent and the friendly and competent staff and management went out of their way to make our evening enjoyable. We have eaten at many fine dining establishments, yet our experience here was exceptional and was over and above our expectations for the evening.

                                                                                              The decor in the main dining room is a bit fussy and depressing, so be sure to sit in the bar area, which is great. Food is always good, although last visit I did get sick from the oysters. This time I stuck with just fish, and I was fine. The variety of fish is a bit limited and rarely changes, although it is nice that they will prepare it to your liking. I enjoyed the special (blue fin tuna) because it came with a starch and veggie, otherwise you have to buy sides too big for two people. I like coming here for seafood, since there are so few places in the Pittsburgh area that actually have good seafood and a variety of it. The prices are reasonable, and the service is always top notch. Salads were small but tasty. Crabcakes are a good choice as well.
