                                      Origin is a neighborhood favorite. If you are shopping in the Knox district...stop in for a great, healthy meal. Reservations are best as the place is small-ish. Service can also be a bit slow at times but the food is worth the wait. original brunch is also wonderful!

                                      While in town for business, I met my good girlfriend here (on her recommendation) for brunch and it did NOT disappoint. She had a burger and fries. I had the steak and eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection - the way I asked it to be prepared. We both had the Enter the Dragon cocktail as well and she was lovely. Would def return next time I’m in town.

                                      I really enjoyed being able to have a quiet conversation with a friend. Our server was attentive without hovering, and paced our meal perfectly. A good place in my opinion, one I will go back to

                                      Such an awesome and unique place! The host, our bartender Anthony and amazing server Dakota all took great care of us and the food was absolutely delicious as always!

                                      The food was atrocious. I asked for an extra hot decaf almond milk latte. They said they couldn’t do that but could do a decaf cafe ole. I said ok, brought cold “coffee” that tasted like milk and hot water. I had the chicken and waffles, which was disgusting. The waffles tasted like wet bread. The chicken was a large flat breast, I think, that was fried in dirty grease. The best thing were the mimosas. Server was slow…we forgot we hadn’t ordered because she took so long to come back. Much below expectations.

                                      One of the only options for celiac safe food, although it’s not a completely gluten-free kitchen. Food is slightly better than average. If the restaurant is full, it’s super loud. Servers are always nice and understand dietary needs, but it’s always a wait to get food. I’m still happy to have this restaurant for when I want GF brunch or fried calamari.

                                      I’ve loved origins for years, but I feel like the food is gone downhill a little bit lately. My bigger gripe though is every time I go they try to rush us out. I understand it’s brunch on a weekend but when my friend just ordered a cup of coffee and had two sips and we’re asking to leave it’s awkward and makes you feel uncomfortable. This is not the first second or third time this has happened.
