Owned by brothers John-Thomas and Christopher Scott, Parker's on Ponce is Decatur's first independently owned steakhouse. The Scott family has always been extremely involved in the local community, including local government. The restaurant is named after John-Thomas' 12 year old daughter, Parker. The whole family is often seen at the restaurant - it is not a business to them, but a home - and they treat guests of the restaurant as family as well.

                                                                                                        I made reservations for a group of 8 for New Year's Eve and the manager was very accommodating to get us in - and at a round table where we could talk to one another easily. We were seated on time and the server was great. They had a variety of cocktails, wines, and beers - and the menu had so many good things it was hard to choose. My husband and I shared the seafood risotto and the aged filet with broccoli. I think the risotto was a little oily, but the scallops and shrimp were wonderful! All-in-all it was a lovely experience. Next time I may sit in the bar where there is a piano player!

                                                                                                        Lovely time at Parker’s on Ponce for my birthday. I didn’t feel like company, and dined solo. I didn’t get any “Oh, poor thing” vibes from the hostess or other staff which I really appreciated. Ross, my server, was perfect. The steak was delicious as was the Greek salad, mezcal Negroni, and pineapple cheesecake. Highly recommend!

                                                                                                        Wonderful dining experience; perfect for conversational dining(Date night or friends catching up) Ambiance is elegant yet relaxing. Food was flavorful and prepared perfectly. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. Pianist was marvelous- so talented, certainly balanced the ratio between elegance and fine dining. 100% recommend.

                                                                                                        Our server Eric was wonderful and very informative when it came to the dishes on the menu. He was polite and had great customer service when celebrating my dad’s birthday. My dad loves this restaurant, as we have been before for Father’s Day brunch. We will most definitely be back!
