Owned by brothers John-Thomas and Christopher Scott, Parker's on Ponce is Decatur's first independently owned steakhouse. The Scott family has always been extremely involved in the local community, including local government. The restaurant is named after John-Thomas' 12 year old daughter, Parker. The whole family is often seen at the restaurant - it is not a business to them, but a home - and they treat guests of the restaurant as family as well.

Will always be my favorite steak place in Atlanta! Always get a filet cooked medium rare plus and it is soooo good. The service is wonderful.. the owners and managers….are wonderful

We went the Friday before Christmas week. The restaurant was very calm and organized. They took us right to our seats immediately. The service was timely and helpful. The menu had lots of options for red meat and white meat eaters. The morel toast on the appetizer menu was particularly special. Entrees we delicious. We had crab cakes and shrimp and grits. Overall an amazing experience.

Great night celebrating my daughter. The wait staff was terrific, and so was the food. It was nice that the manager greeted us and asked if everything was good 👍🏽. Our waiter was very attentive and was familiar with the menu items, which is always a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend Parkers on Ponce.

It Was not as good as I remembered. Service was good but the dining room area reminded me of eating at a hotel lobby restaurant. Food was ok. Strip steak asparagus and fried Provolone would have been nice if it was seasoned at all. Brisket was good. Kids like the burger and fries.

We ate an early dinner here on a dreary Sunday night. Parker's on Ponce was warm, cozy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Angel, our server, took excellent care of us. We started with nice glasses of wine. The rolls were sourdough and more flavorful than the standard rolls they've had in the past. I enjoyed my entree of trout with broccoli and rice pilaf. I took half of it home because it was too plentiful to eat in one sitting. My husband enjoyed his grilled octopus appetizer, along with two sides as his dinner - collard greens with bacon and roasted potatoes. He took home most of his potatoes because it was a huge serving, probably meant to share with the table. We got the bread pudding for my birthday dessert, and it was warm and delicious.
