                                Came here for new years dinner. Pre fix $125 per person. It was a money grab. The food was not good at all. Service wasn’t great either. Waste of money. It isn’t a fancy restaurant and shouldn’t pretend to be.

                                One of the most absolutely worst dining experiences we’ve ever had! Service was slow we did the new years tasting dinner and didn’t even stay past the second course it was so bad. There was food all over the ground and trash, the woman’s toilet had blood all over it. The service was slow and after the first course we were asked to keep our silverware for the next course. We had to flag someone down for water and again to come over for cocktails. Those were the only decent items. We left our number and contact info for the management to get back to us and have heard nothing!!!! I still went ahead and paid for the two tasting dinners in full and tipped but honestly we should have asked for a full refund because all of this was unacceptable for a darn tasting dinner that’s advertised as high end….high end this is not! We would still love to hear back from the management team. V/R Chris Fox

                                Excellent timely service. Very pleasant restaurant staff including bartender, Ricardo, Manager, Emilia and Anna?? who waited on us when we were seated in the bar area! The 5 course meal on NYE was delicious. We enjoyed it very much! Thank you for a very enjoyable NYE!

                                The food was meh all around. Perfectly edible and reasonably tasty but just meh for the price. Brussels sprouts were only impressive dish we ordered. Pastas were fine (small), chicken empanada was fried well but where’s the empanada? Snapper was fresh but served on mushy root veg puree- not super appetizing.

                                We were in San Juan for one night and my friend booked this restaurant. It was awesome! It's in the oldest hotel in San Juan that used to be a convent. It's really cool to walk around and look at the architecture and the art. The restaurant is in the back in a outdoor courtyard. It's beautiful! The menu has a good variety and the portions were a good size. All the food we ordered was delicious and the flan was AMAZING!! I highly recommend it.

                                Beautiful atmosphere. Restaurant is located in the center court of the Hotel El Convento a convent from the 1600’s. The service is great and food amazing.

                                Really nice ambience with live music and good decor inside El convento. The food was good although the late night ( after 9pm) service wasn’t the best. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated even though it was practically empty.
