                                Came here for new years dinner. Pre fix $125 per person. It was a money grab. The food was not good at all. Service wasn’t great either. Waste of money. It isn’t a fancy restaurant and shouldn’t pretend to be.

                                The food was meh all around. Perfectly edible and reasonably tasty but just meh for the price. Brussels sprouts were only impressive dish we ordered. Pastas were fine (small), chicken empanada was fried well but where’s the empanada? Snapper was fresh but served on mushy root veg puree- not super appetizing.

                                Beautiful atmosphere. Restaurant is located in the center court of the Hotel El Convento a convent from the 1600’s. The service is great and food amazing.

                                Really nice ambience with live music and good decor inside El convento. The food was good although the late night ( after 9pm) service wasn’t the best. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated even though it was practically empty.

                                We had a reservation on Christmas evening. We were seated promptly, but that was the only prompt service we received. Only after 15 minutes of waiting and me asking for service did we receive water. It took another 45 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. The waiter seemed annoyed with us and offered no explanation or apology. The manager was helpless in resolving our service issues. No one ever came to take our food order, so we left after 90 minutes of arriving.

                                Special 5 course menu for Christmas Eve. Appetizer was excellent. Burrata Dali's very good. Fish tasted a bit too fishy but was ok. Fillet of beef over Roquefort didn't have any Roquefort, was dry, overcooked and mushy...as if it was treated with tenderizer. Dessert was good. The meal seemed rushed(out in 1:20). Terribly overpriced. Expected something special.

                                Great little restaurant in a very historic building. Staff are fantastic; they work hard and are very friendly. Food is also great. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and food was always consistent. Only negative comment is that they were understaffed for Christmas week. There were far too few staff and they were doing every job - bar tending, waiting tables, cleaning, seating people… Otherwise, we really loved it!

                                A beautiful hotel with a nice courtyard restaurant. Great drinks and casual food. Service is friendly and quicker that the usual PR tempo. If you’re at the top of the hill this is a great place to rest your feet with a snack and a cool drink.
