We have always tried to give our food and service our best selves, as honest and vulnerable as we can muster. Oh, you wanted a restaurant description? Sorry. Can’t really help you there. We’re not so big on labels. Our food is hard to nail down as we are constantly evolving and entirely seasonal and personal. We’ve used “Food you eat” as a tag line on occasion and that remains accurate. We could also describe it as “Food we really want you to eat”. When you’re here, tell us what you would call it.

    The endive Cesar salad and the chicken pot pie were excellent. As always, our cocktails were fabulous. We had a garden gimlet which is with cucumber & mint as well as a shiso sour that actually is served with the shiso leaf! During the busy dinner hours 6-8pm just note that it's quite energetic and loud inside. They do offer n outside dining though.

    The staff at Lupa are always welcoming as soon as we walk in. This restaurant in Noe Valley has always been a go-to place for great Italian food. Very flavorful..all dishes are unique. You won't be disappointed. We have been going to Lupa for many, many years. The owner/proprietor is most always present and engaging with his customers.

    The food was amazing, done to perfection, as were the cocktails. Everyone was amazingly friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our first time here and we will definitely come back!

    Our favorite restaurant in SF. The food is exceptional, the service is attentive and welcoming-and the ambience (lighting, furniture, music) sets a lovely atmosphere.
