Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus. A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. Maxine’s was great! Natalie was our server and she was outstanding! She was so sweet! The food was so good and very reasonably priced! We sat outside and it was very quiet, but cozy!

We had a incredibly delicious meal with our family. So much flavour it's hard to pick one dish that stands out. The tabouli and cauliflower are tied for first, but everything else we ordered was a close 2nd. We try to eat here once every time we visit from Victoria.

Food was very delicious, had the duck meatball, gnocchi, duck breast, and bread. All were very good hard to find anything wrong with these. If I had to be nitpicky, I wish the sauce on the meatball tagliatelle wasn't as strong/cheesey but it was still very good. Service was just perfect too, very attentive and friendly. Our family enjoyed the various lemonade flavours, especially the kids. Will certainly go back to Fable.
