Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. In the summer of 2016, owners Eileen & Matthew Connors and Jay Gut moved locations to a brand new dockside treasure. With stunning views and multiple fireplaces, comfortable seating for 100+ guests, two lounge areas, deck overlooking the Great South Bay, and both an indoor tavern room and a waterfront bar, The Lakehouse is touted by many as “one of the best restaurants on Long Island.” At night, the deck is illuminated, as is the waterfront lounge area where guests can congregate for after-dinner cocktails. The Snapper Inn offers seating overlooking the Connetquot river either waterside or under a gazebo. Sunday brunch features unlimited mimosas and champagne to accompany brunch items, such as eggs benedict, smoked Atlantic salmon, Alaskan crab legs or fresh fruit. Enjoy a peaceful evening at The Snapper Inn with a starter of lobster crab cake, Manhattan style baked clams, mini French dip sliders or chicken quesadillas. Dine on an entrée of pan seared sea scallops, shrimp pasta or blackened codfish. The menu also consists of black Angus filet mignon, sautéed chicken scallopini and a vegetarian option of grilled vegetable platter.
